How They Work

• Interaction: You must approach these hidden cache objects in the open world, attach C4 to them, and detonate them to open them.

• Reset & Limits: All 20 boxes reset every 24 hours so you can farm them daily.

• Audio Cue: They emit a distinct droning or pinging noise when you are standing close to help you pinpoint them.

• Rewards & Spawns: Opening a cache drops an item from the event gear cache loot pool (such as named items or prototype gear) without costing any Storm Keys, and it guarantees the immediate spawn of a Dust Devil kill squad. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]

Requirements to Open Them

• Complete the Warlords of New York campaign and reach Level 40.

• If you cannot interact with them or plant C4, ensure your map phase has properly loaded the active event status, or try re-logging if they appear bugged/permanently locked
